WEBSITE DEVELOPMENT SERVICE AGREEMENT

1. SCOPE OF WORK

The Developer will provide website development services for the Client, including:

Primary Features

• One-time website design (5 pages)
• Mobile-responsive design
• Content tailored for the client
• Privacy & Terms Page

Additional Features

• Site will be initially optimized for search engines during design/development
• Site will be indexed on Google and other search engines
• Contact form with email notifications
• Google Maps integration

2. COMPENSATION

One-Time Development Fee

• Original Cost: $1,500
• Discount (if applicable): $200 (Reason: Referral from Empire Garage Door)
• Total Cost: $1,300
  • $650 due upfront
  • $650 due upon completion

Hosting

• Client Self-Hosting on GoDaddy
• AppWT Hosting: $________ per month

Additional Services

• Additional work (major updates, changes, or pages beyond those included): $125 per hour (billed in 15-minute increments)

4. OWNERSHIP AND RIGHTS

• Client will own all deliverables, including but not limited to:
  • All website files and content
  • Source code
  • Design elements
• All deliverables will be original work or properly licensed

5. WARRANTIES

The Developer warrants that:

• All work will be original or properly licensed
• Services will be performed professionally
• The website will function according to agreed specifications
• Any defects will be corrected within 3 business days

6. TERMINATION

• Either party may terminate with 7 days written notice
• Client shall pay for all work completed up to termination date
• Developer shall transfer all completed work to Client upon termination

7. CONFIDENTIALITY

• Both parties agree to maintain confidentiality of business information
• Developer will not disclose Client's confidential information
• Security measures will be maintained to protect data

8. INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR

• Developer acts as an independent contractor
• No employer-employee relationship is created
• Developer is responsible for all taxes and benefits

9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

• Developer's liability limited to amount paid for services
• Force majeure clause for circumstances beyond reasonable control

10. GOVERNING LAW

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of Michigan.
