In a world of digital ad fatigue, printed marketing materials stand out. A well-designed flyer placed in the right hands drives local business effectively.

Flyer Design Best Practices

  • One clear message: What is the one thing you want the reader to do?
  • Bold headline: Readable from arm length. Communicates the benefit immediately.
  • Strong visual: One high-quality image or illustration that supports the message.
  • Minimal text: Bullet points, not paragraphs. People scan flyers in 3-5 seconds.
  • Clear CTA: Phone number, website, QR code. Make the next step obvious.

Brochure Design Structure

Tri-fold Brochure (Most Common)

  • Front panel: Logo, headline, compelling image
  • Inside left: Your story or the problem you solve
  • Inside center: Your services or solutions
  • Inside right: Testimonials and social proof
  • Back left: FAQ or additional details
  • Back right: Contact information and call to action

Print Specifications

  • Use CMYK color mode (not RGB)
  • Minimum 300 DPI resolution for all images
  • Include 1/8 inch bleed on all sides
  • Use print-safe fonts (avoid thin weights that disappear in print)
  • Request a physical proof before full run
