More About Lodi
Lodi was first called Harrisville, after Judge Joseph Harris, and its later name echoes the Italian city of Lodi, where Napoleon won a battle in 1796.
The village was incorporated in 1891 and lies southwest of Medina along U.S. Route 42.
It sits on the north-south continental divide, so rain runs either north to Lake Erie or south toward the Ohio River.
Public schools are part of the Cloverleaf Local School District.
