Statistics & Methodology
How we count clients
“Client” refers to any individual or business that has engaged AppWT for a billable deliverable across our service lines: website development, AI training and consulting, audio and music production, design and print, custom promotional products, ADA compliance work, managed hosting, course enrollment, and software-platform subscriptions. The count reflects cumulative engagement across 29 years of operation under both the original sole-proprietorship and the current LLC structure.
How we count projects
“Project” refers to a distinct billable deliverable. A single client may account for several projects across multiple years (for example, an initial website launch, a brand-refresh redesign, an ongoing ADA-compliance retainer, and a custom-jingle production constitute four separate projects). Counts increment from a baseline-and-rate model anchored to our 1997 founding date.
How we count reviews
Our published review count aggregates verified five-star reviews across Google, BBB, Clutch, Trustpilot, Yelp, Nextdoor, and other directories where AppWT maintains an active profile. We do not purchase, incentivize, or solicit reviews in exchange for compensation. Every review is from a client we have done paid work for; we request feedback once at project delivery and once at a 60-day follow-up.
Why our review-to-client ratio is conservative
Our review count is intentionally smaller than industry averages because we do not run paid review campaigns. We believe a review obtained through purchase or incentive is not an honest signal. The trade-off is a lower headline count in exchange for review integrity.
Verification for due diligence
For vendor onboarding, RFP responses, or formal due diligence, client and project records are available under standard non-disclosure for the requesting party. Contact sales@appwt.com with the scope of verification needed.
