I share what AppWT Ordering does out of the box and why that matters to a busy restaurant. I give a simple checklist to launch and connect it to your website this week.
What it is
Out of the box, AppWT Ordering provides browser-based online ordering, a kitchen display, and table reservations for restaurants. There is nothing to install, no terminal to buy, and it fits the website you already have.
Guests place orders and reserve tables in their browser on phones, tablets or computers. Your staff opens the kitchen display on an existing device and sees orders as they come in.
Why it matters
Fewer moving parts mean faster setup and less staff training. Your guests do not need to download an app. Your kitchen gets a live screen to organize work, and your host stand gets reservations without paper lists.
What comes out of the box
You get a ready to use ordering site that runs in a browser, a kitchen display your staff can open on an existing device, and a reservations flow your host can check. Because it fits the website you already have, you can add clear Order Online and Reserve a Table buttons and send guests straight in.
How to launch this week
- List your menu sections and items in plain text. Include short descriptions that help a first time guest choose.
- Decide when you will accept online orders and reservations, and who on staff will monitor them.
- Pick an existing tablet, computer or screen for the kitchen display and place it where cooks can see it.
- Add Order Online and Reserve a Table buttons to your website header and menu. Add the same buttons on your home page.
- Place test orders from a phone and a desktop, confirm they show on the kitchen display, then place a test reservation your host can see.
- Create a short script for staff. Who checks the kitchen display, who confirms reservations, and who helps guests if they call.
- Post a sign at the host stand and add a note on printed menus that guests can order or reserve on your website.
Common add ons I set up
For retailers and B2B portals that need carts, checkout changes or subscriptions, I set those up through my E-Commerce service, separate from AppWT Ordering.
When I connect AppWT Ordering to a restaurant website, I also use AppWT Analytics to see which AI assistants send people to your ordering pages and whether they convert.
I can set up AppWT Ordering, connect it to your site, and train your staff. If you need more store features I handle that with Web Design & Development E-Commerce and Store Management, and I can run PPC & Paid Advertising to help drive ordering traffic. I can add AppWT Analytics to measure traffic from AI assistants.
