Can we use the song at a funeral home service?
Yes — every package includes unlimited personal-use rights, which covers funeral services, celebrations of life, memorial websites, family gatherings, and private playback. If you also need the song registered for streaming services (Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube) under the family's name, that's an optional add-on Tony can quote.
What information should we send to start?
Tony works best with: the obituary, 5-10 favorite photos, 3-5 specific stories or memories, the person's favorite music or song that captured their personality, and any specific phrases, places, jokes, or names that should appear in the lyrics. The more you share, the more personal the song.
Can multiple family members provide input?
Yes. Many families pull together a shared Google Doc or thread where everyone contributes memories, then send the consolidated set to Tony. The single revision round (or unlimited revisions on Album / Premium packages) covers refining the lyrics until the family agrees.
Can the song be performed live at the service?
Yes. Tony delivers the mastered audio AND a lyric sheet, plus a chord chart on request. Many families have a singer perform the song live with the recorded track as backing music; others play the recorded version. Either works.
What if the family member already passed and we're memorializing later?
Anniversary-of-passing and "songs we wish we'd had at the service" requests are common. There's no timeline — Tony has produced memorial songs years after the loss for families who wanted to honor someone properly.
How is this different from buying a stock memorial song?
Stock songs are written for "anyone" — they use generic imagery (rivers, sunsets, angels). A custom memorial song uses the person's actual name, the specific places they lived, the inside jokes only family will recognize. When the family hears it, they recognize their person — not a placeholder.
