What's the difference between UX and UI design?

UX (User Experience) is how it feels - the flow, logic, ease of use, and overall experience of using your product. UI (User Interface) is how it looks - the colors, fonts, buttons, images, and visual design. Both are essential. Great UX with poor UI looks unprofessional. Great UI with poor UX looks beautiful but frustrates users.

What's your UX/UI design process?

How long does UX/UI design take?

Simple projects take 3-4 weeks. Medium complexity projects take 6-8 weeks. Complex applications take 10-12 weeks. Timeline depends on number of screens, user research depth, revision rounds, and usability testing cycles. We provide detailed project timelines during consultation.

Will I receive Figma files?

Yes! You receive all design files including Figma files with editable layers, exported assets (images, icons, logos), style guide documentation with colors and fonts, and component library with reusable UI elements. You own all design files - use them however you need.

Do you create design systems?

Yes! Design systems include reusable components (buttons, forms, cards, navigation), typography scales, color palettes, spacing systems, iconography, and usage guidelines. Design systems ensure consistency across all pages and make future development faster. Included in Professional and Enterprise tiers.

Can you design for accessibility?

Absolutely! We follow WCAG 2.1 Level AA accessibility standards including proper color contrast (4.5:1 minimum), keyboard navigation support, screen reader compatibility, focus indicators, alt text for images, and semantic HTML structure. Accessibility is included in all packages - it's not optional.

Do you conduct user research?

Yes! Research depth varies by package tier.

What's an interactive prototype?

Interactive prototypes are clickable mockups that simulate how your product will work - click buttons, fill forms, navigate between pages - without any real code. This lets you test the user experience before development starts. Catch problems early when they're easy to fix, not after development when changes are expensive.

Can you redesign my existing app or website?

Yes! Redesign projects start with auditing your current design - what works, what doesn't, where users struggle. We analyze user behavior data, conduct usability testing, and identify improvement opportunities. Then we redesign with focus on solving identified problems while maintaining brand consistency.

Do you design mobile apps?

Yes! We design iOS apps following Apple Human Interface Guidelines, Android apps following Material Design principles, and responsive web apps that work across all devices. Mobile app design includes platform-specific patterns, touch gestures, device considerations (notches, safe areas), and native component usage.

How do you handle design revisions?

All packages include revision rounds - Launch gets 2 rounds, Growth gets 3 rounds, Professional gets 4 rounds, Enterprise gets unlimited. Each round means you provide feedback on all designs and we make changes. We collaborate closely to ensure you're happy with the final design before development begins.

Do you serve clients outside Michigan?

Yes! While we're based in Michigan and proudly serve Birmingham, Livonia, Northville, Detroit, Ann Arbor, and the entire state, we work with clients across the United States, Canada, Australia, and the United Kingdom. All services available remotely.
