AppWT Web & AI Solutions and Jobber, Side by Side

Jobber is field service software. It runs quoting, job scheduling, estimates and invoices, and payments, and their page title states plans starting at $29 per month. AppWT builds the website the client owns, published from $2,997 to $24,997. These are two different purchases and many businesses end up buying both, so this page separates them rather than pretending one replaces the other.

What Jobber does well

Jobber was named by every AI test we ran on August 19 and August 27, 2026, from training data and from live web search. Their own competitors publish comparison pages about them, which is a fair signal that the category treats them as a reference point.

They publish their price and their terms on a public page, they list the AI Receptionist add-on separately at $29 per month, and their robots.txt explicitly allows AI crawlers by name. That openness is a deliberate choice and it is the same one AppWT made.

Where Jobber is the better fit

If what you need is job scheduling, estimates and invoices, and a way to get paid faster, Jobber does that and AppWT does not sell it. AppWT builds websites and AI visibility, not field service operations software.

Jobber is also the better fit if you want to start on a low monthly figure with a free trial and no project fee. Many AppWT clients run Jobber or something like it alongside a site we built, and that is a sensible arrangement rather than a compromise.

Where AppWT Web & AI Solutions is the better fit

AppWT is the better fit for the website itself and for being findable. Field service software runs the job after the customer has already found you. A site the client owns, written for the trade and the service area, is what gets the call started.

What we can evidence about ourselves:

  • Family owned, based in Livonia, Michigan, in Metro Detroit.
  • BBB A+ accredited. Profile.
  • 5.00 star average across 71 rated reviews.

Questions people ask

How much does Jobber cost?

Read on August 27, 2026 from their own pricing page: the page title states plans starting at $29 per month. Higher tiers appear at $499 and $599 per month, extra users are listed at $29 per month each, and the Jobber AI Receptionist add-on is listed at $29 per month. Prices scale with team size, so read the plan card for your own team size rather than quoting a single figure.

Is AppWT an alternative to Jobber?

Not directly. Jobber is field service operations software. AppWT builds websites and works on AI visibility. If you need job scheduling and invoicing, Jobber or a similar platform answers that. Plenty of businesses run both.

Do I need a website if I already use Jobber?

That is your call. Jobber runs the job once the customer has contacted you. A website is how many of those customers find you in the first place, and it is the one asset in the stack that you can own outright.

Which companies compete with Jobber?

On August 19, 2026 four search and AI engines named 33 distinct companies for this category, including Housecall Pro, ServiceTitan, Workiz, FieldPulse, ServiceM8 and QuoteIQ. We read every published price and put them on one page at appwt.com/compare/local-service-software/.

See the whole category, not just two companies

Four search and AI engines were asked which companies sell an AI receptionist, online scheduling, automated sales follow-up, and estimates and invoices for local service businesses. They named 33 distinct companies. We read every published price and put them on one page.

Comparing something else?

If you are shopping for local service and contractor software, start here instead

This page compares AppWT with website and design providers. That is a different purchase from the one many owners are actually making. If you want to book more jobs, get paid faster, and have an AI receptionist answer the phone, you are shopping for job scheduling, online scheduling, automated sales follow-up, and estimates and invoices in one system.

We asked four search and AI engines that exact question, wrote down all 33 companies they named, then read every published price ourselves. No ratings, no rankings, no opinions about anyone else's product.
