I explain what AppWT Ordering does and who it fits. I give a simple plan to run a promo and keep the contacts organized in your CRM.
What it does
You can use AppWT Ordering to run simple promos by sending people to your ordering page and capturing signups in your CRM. AppWT Ordering is browser based online ordering with a kitchen display and table reservations. There is nothing to install, no terminal to buy, and it fits the website you already have.
This works well for restaurants and food businesses that run limited time offers or special menus. It keeps ordering easy for guests and simple for staff.
Who it fits
If you need a clean way to accept promo orders without changing your point of sale, this fits you. If you want orders to flow to a kitchen view and keep your brand look on your site, this fits you too.
How to run a promo this week
- Pick one offer with a clear name. Example names are Family Tray Friday or Winter Soup Sampler.
- Create a short landing page on your website. List what is included, pickup or delivery rules, dates, and limits. Add a simple form for name, email, phone, and consent to receive messages. Confirm the consent text with your attorney or compliance advisor.
- Set the form thank you page to link to your AppWT Ordering page so the guest can place the order right away. Use the same offer name on the page and in your marketing so it is easy to recognize.
- In your CRM, tag or note each form submission with the promo name. If your CRM allows CSV import, export the form entries and import them so you can segment and follow up.
- Promote the offer. Send one email, one text alert, and three short social posts. Keep copy simple, repeat the offer name, and include the landing page link.
- Before you go live, place a test order. Confirm the order appears in your kitchen display and that your confirmation emails or texts look right. Check that the test contact appears in your CRM with the promo tag.
Simple follow up plan
Send a thank you message the next day with a friendly note and a question about the experience. One week later, send a reminder for the next date the offer runs. Keep responses in your CRM so you can see who reorders.
