I use a simple weekly rhythm to plan 90 days of content tied to real services and real audiences. You can set this up fast and keep it moving without guesswork.
Why this matters
I plan a 90-day content calendar by fixing a simple weekly rhythm tied to my services and audience. A steady cadence cuts guesswork, keeps topics relevant, and helps you know what comes next.
Simple cadence
Pick your top four services and your top three audience groups. Rotate one service focus each week, and rotate audience groups inside that. Keep formats light. One blog or page update, one email, and a few social notes that point back to the main piece.
Exact steps
- Open a blank spreadsheet or calendar. Make 12 rows for the next 12 weeks.
- List four services that matter most. List three audience groups you serve.
- Create columns: Week start, Service focus, Audience, Working title, Format, Owner, Status, Publish date, Call to action.
- Fill the Service focus by repeating your four services down the 12 weeks. Fill the Audience by cycling the three groups in order.
- For each week, pick one main format. Blog post, page refresh, case story, checklist, or short video. Plan one email that summarizes and points back.
- Write a working title for each week. Use simple patterns like How to choose, Common mistakes, Starter checklist, or What to expect.
- Add one clear call to action, such as Book a consult, Request a quote, or Download the checklist.
- Set Status options. Idea, Draft, Review, Scheduled, Published.
- Block one production slot on the same day each week. Protect it like a meeting.
- Create a parking lot tab for extra ideas. When you have more, drop them there for the next cycle.
Keep it moving
Batch support pieces once a month. Write three subject lines, a short social caption, and a reusable image template you can swap each week. Store all assets in one folder named for the week number.
Measure and adjust
Track two things. Did you publish on time, and did you get replies or leads? Log leads in your CRM so follow up is clear. If you want to see which AI assistants send visitors, AppWT Analytics shows AI referrals and what those visitors do.
If you want help turning this plan into a working system, I can support it with Content Writing, Email Marketing, and Maintenance Plans. I can also set up AppWT Analytics and help you align publishing with your follow-up process in your CRM.
