Logo and Branding service

I explain how I approach Logo & Branding so your visuals stay consistent across web, video, and print. I share a simple checklist you can use this week to build a practical brand kit.

What it is

I provide Logo & Branding under Content & Media. My goal is a clear, usable identity your team can apply the same way in web, social, video, and print. When it helps, I pair this work with Photography, Video & Animation, Music & Audio, and Print Design so everything feels consistent.

Who it fits

  • New organizations choosing their first logo and look.
  • Teams with mismatched colors, fonts, or logo files.
  • Groups preparing a website rebuild or new print run.
  • Organizations adding services or changing their name.

Build a practical kit

A useful brand kit makes good choices easy and repeatable. If you are doing prep work in house, assemble these basics so any designer, printer, or video editor can work fast.

  • Logo variations for light, dark, and one color uses.
  • Color choices written as hex (web color codes) and CMYK (print color) values.
  • Two font families, with simple rules for headings and body.
  • Image style notes, such as lighting, background, and framing.
  • Minimum sizes and clear space around the logo.
  • File types most vendors ask for, such as SVG, PNG, and PDF.

A simple before and after

A multi location retailer had three different logos in use and no brand notes. The constraint was tight timing before new packaging. I focused on a cleaner mark, a primary color with a neutral, a headline font and a text font, and a one page usage sheet that vendors could follow.

Start this week

  • Gather every logo file you can find and note where each one appears.
  • Print your current logo small and large. Check that it is readable at tiny sizes, works in one color, and sits clearly on light and dark backgrounds.
  • Write a short brand note. List who you serve and three traits you want to signal, such as friendly, precise, or bold.
  • Create one shared folder. Add an Old subfolder for past files and a New subfolder for drafts you prefer.
  • Share the folder and the brand note with anyone creating graphics, photos, video, or print.
